“Queen of Tears” Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s Next K-Drama “Knock Off” Confirms Star-Studded Cast

Kim Soo Hyun, whose latest K-Drama Queen of Tears dubbed him one of the hottest actors in the industry, has secured his next lead role alongside an incredibly star-studded cast.

A STAR original K-Drama, currently called Knock Off, revealed on July 13, 2024 (KST) that actor Kim Mu Yeol is the latest to join the cast lineup. With Kim Mu Yeol, Knock Off now has at least 12 confirmed roles cast.

According to casting news reports, Knock Off tells the story of Kim Sung Joon, an ordinary man who, after losing his job during the Asian financial crisis—known as the “IMF era” to Koreans—dives into counterfeit business to emerge as a global “Counterfeit King.”

Set to start filming in August 2024, it was revealed in actress Kwon Nara‘s casting report that Knock Off will be available on Disney+ for global streaming.
