Marvel fans waiting for Tom Hollandโs return as Peter Parker just got a reason to mark their calendars a little earlier. Amazon Prime has confirmed early theater screenings for Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 29, 2026. This puts the movie in select theaters two full days before its worldwide release on July 31.
The announcement came through Amazonโs official newsroom. US Prime members will get first access to watch the fourth MCU Spider-Man film. The early screenings will happen in select theaters across the country. Tickets are not on sale yet, but fans can sign up for alerts through a dedicated page on Amazon.com. The ticketing system works with Fandango to handle purchases.
What We Know About the Early Screenings
The July 29 screenings are only for Amazon Prime members in the United States. A standard Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Young adults between 18 and 24 pay $7.49 monthly or $69 annually. Those with qualifying government assistance can join through Prime Access for $6.99 per month.
Ticket prices have not been announced yet. Based on past early screenings for major movies like Superman, tickets could cost around $30 each for premium formats like IMAX. The early access event is part of Amazonโs Prime Day promotions, which run from June 23 through June 26 this year.
The official runtime for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is listed as 1 hour and 30 minutes. The movie will release in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam for Indian audiences.
Tom Holland Returns Four Years After No Way Home
Spider-Man: Brand New Day picks up four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Peter Parker now lives alone in New York. He made the choice to erase himself from the memories of everyone he loved. That means Zendayaโs MJ and Jacob Batalonโs Ned no longer know who he is. They see him as just the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Peter continues to grieve the death of Aunt May played by Marisa Tomei. He puts on a new red and blue suit that looks closer to the comic books. He works full time as a hero protecting New York City. But the pressure starts to build. A strange pattern of crimes brings one of his biggest threats yet.
The cast brings back familiar faces and adds new ones. Tom Holland leads as Peter Parker. Zendaya returns as MJ. Jacob Batalon is back as Ned. Jon Bernthal plays Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher. Mark Ruffalo joins as Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Michael Mando plays Mac Gargan. Sadie Sink appears in an unnamed role. Tramell Tillman is also part of the cast.
Destin Daniel Cretton Directs The New Chapter
Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, takes charge of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The movie marks a fresh start for Peter Parker in the MCU. The title comes from a famous comic book storyline of the same name.
New promotional images show Spider-Man in intense battle scenes. One picture shows Peter teaming up with MJ to investigate a mystery together. A poster spotted at a Meijer store in the Midwest officially confirmed that Spider-Man will fight Mark Ruffaloโs Hulk in the movie.

Tom Holland Pushed For Release Date Change
Tom Holland had to have an uncomfortable conversation with Sony Pictures to make the schedule work. He also stars in Christopher Nolanโs The Odyssey, which releases just two weeks before Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 17, 2026. The production dates for both movies were almost identical. Holland convinced Sony to push back the Spider-Man release so he could do both films properly. He credits working with Nolan on The Odyssey for helping him bring new ideas to Brand New Day.
