The series features Ray Park , who played Maul in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace , as the physical model for the character. The voice cast includes Dennis Haysbert as Master Eeko-Dio Daki and Gideon Adlon as Devon, a padawan that Maul wants as his own student.

The show gives fans a deeper look at what makes Maul tick. Each episode runs just under 30 minutes. A second season has already been given the green light by Disney .
