The popular anime and light novel series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is coming back to the stage. The third stage play adaptation has been officially announced for October 2026 in Tokyo. Fans of the series can look forward to seeing their favorite characters in a live performance once again.

The new production is titled Stage “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” 3 – Demon Lord Awakening Arc & Eight Star Shining Arc. It will run from October 22 to October 25, 2026, at Theater 1010 in Adachi Ward, Tokyo. This marks the third live stage show based on the hit franchise, following two previous successful productions.

Main Cast Returns for the Stage Play

Hana Ogi, a member of the idol group โ‰ ME, will return to play the lead role of Rimuru Tempest. She has played the character in the first two stage plays and is excited to come back. Ogi expressed her feelings about the show, saying:

“This is my third time appearing in the series, following the first installment, and I am truly happy and honored to be able to return to this world as Rimuru Tempest. I think this story is a key point in the original work. The returning cast also includes Futa Sakayori as Diablo, the powerful primordial demon, and Takuya Masunaga as Veldora, the catastrophic dragon. Other cast members from previous productions are also set to reprise their roles. Mai Takahashi from the idol group โ‰’JOY joins the cast as a new addition. She will play Hinata Sakaguchi, the chief knight of the Holy Guard of the Holy Empire of Ruberios.
