The wait for more sword-fighting action in a world of magic is almost over. The production team for Wistoria: Wand and Sword released the main trailer and key visual for the highly anticipated second season on March 4, 2026.

The new trailer confirms that Season 2 will premiere in Japan on April 12, 2026. It will broadcast on TBS and 28 affiliated stations across the country every Sunday at 4:30 PM JST . For international fans, Crunchyroll will stream the new episodes simultaneously with English subtitles .

New Theme Songs Set the Tone

The trailer also gave fans their first full listen to the new theme songs. The opening theme is โ€œBELIEVERSโ€ by rock band ASH DA HERO. The energetic track fits the series’ theme of fighting against impossible odds .

The ending theme is โ€œReachlightโ€ , a calm ballad performed by singer Shiyui . Both songs were chosen to match the emotional journey of the main character, Will Serfort, as he continues to climb the tower and chase his dreams.

Fans can pre-add โ€œBELIEVERSโ€ on music streaming platforms now. The full digital single will be released on April 13, 2026 .

What to Expect in Season 2

The story picks up right where the first season left off. Will Serfort is a student at Regarden Magical Academy who cannot use any magic. In a world where wizards rule, he fights using only his sword and his strong will .

His goal remains the same: to become a Magia Vander, one of the most powerful mages at the top of the great tower. He wants to stand alongside his childhood friend, Elfaria, who is a magic genius .

The new key visual shows Will standing in front of the massive tower with a determined look. The tagline reads, โ€œThe name of his magic isโ€ฆ Courage!โ€ . The trailer hints at new monsters wreaking havoc in the city and Will facing threats that will test his limits without magic .
