90 Day Fiancé alums Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone have officially closed the book on their four-year marriage. A Nevada judge signed off on their divorce decree on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, ending nearly five months of tense legal back-and-forth that included a domestic battery arrest, infidelity claims, and a dispute over their three-year-old daughter, Aleesi. The final settlement carries several financial terms that stand out, mainly because of how the court handled child support and a certain electric vehicle.

What the Final Divorce Decree Says

Court documents first obtained by Starcasm confirm that Patrick Mendes, 36, and Thais Ramone, 29, will share joint legal and joint physical custody of Aleesi. The decree was filed in Nevada District Court just five days after Patrick asked the court to finalize the case without another hearing.

Neither parent was ordered to pay alimony or spousal support. Each person keeps the bank accounts and retirement plans held in their own name. The court also did not order either parent to make monthly child support payments, but that detail comes with a significant condition attached to Patrick’s side of the agreement.

The Childcare Trade-Off That Sets Child Support at Zero

Patrick’s child support obligation is listed in the decree as $0.00, and the reasoning behind that number is straightforward. Patrick already pays for Aleesi’s childcare costs. The court determined that those expenses are higher than the amount he would have owed in standard child support payments, so the two effectively cancel each other out.

“Accordingly, Dad’s Child Support obligation is set at $0.00,” the decree states.

The arrangement matters because of where the divorce started. When Patrick filed in May 2026, court documents showed he earns about $10,000 per month, while Thais earns roughly half that amount. In June, Thais asked the court to calculate child support under Nevada law and also requested spousal support. The final decree grants neither of those requests. Patrick’s own October filing described the alimony waiver as “fair and equitable”.

Who Gets What: The Cars, the Debt, and the Tax Bill

The division of assets puts two very different vehicles in two very different driveways. Patrick keeps the 2006 Honda Ridgeline, while Thais receives the 2022 Tesla Model Y. The court gave Patrick 12 months to sign over the Tesla’s title to Thais.

Debt is split along individual lines. Each person is responsible for debts held in their own name, and the decree includes language requiring each party to “indemnify and hold the other Party harmless” from those liabilities. The couple reportedly carried more than $240,000 in unsecured debt when the divorce began, with roughly $221,889 tied to Patrick and just under $20,000 tied to Thais.

Patrick is also “solely responsible for any IRS or joint tax liability,” including debts connected to the couple’s 2025 tax return, along with any penalties and interest that follow.

Custody Schedule and International Travel Rules

Aleesi, who turns four in November 2026, will split her time between her parents on a rotating two-week schedule. In the first week, Thais has her from Saturday at noon until Wednesday at 5:00 PM, and Patrick takes over from Wednesday at 5:00 PM until Sunday at noon. The second week flips the pattern, with Thais having Aleesi from Sunday at noon to Wednesday at 5:00 PM and Patrick covering the rest of the week.

Travel outside the United States comes with strict conditions. Neither parent can take Aleesi out of the country without the other’s written consent, and the traveling parent must provide a full itinerary and emergency contact information before departure. The rule carries extra weight for a family whose story began with Thais moving from Brazil to build a life with Patrick in the United States.

How the Divorce Battle Played Out

Patrick filed for divorce on May 20, 2026, asking for sole legal custody and primary physical custody of Aleesi. Two days later, on May 22, Thais was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery after Patrick alleged she slapped him during an argument. Prosecutors declined to file charges, and the case was dropped two days later.

Patrick moved for a default divorce in June after Thais missed the 21-day response deadline, and Thais hired attorneys and filed her own answer seeking joint custody. In August, Patrick filed court papers alleging Thais had an affair and claimed she grabbed a knife and threatened him while holding Aleesi. A judge later struck those allegations by agreement, and Thais’s attorney said opposing counsel acknowledged the claims were “included in error”.

Thais’s lawyer, Carmen Marisol, issued a statement at the time:

“Our client remains focused on resolving the parties’ custody issues respectfully, privately, and in the best interests of the child”.

Neither Patrick nor Thais has publicly addressed the final divorce decree.

What the Settlement Means in Plain Terms

The final numbers are unusual for a couple with a reported six-figure debt load. Patrick walks away with the older truck, the tax liability, and the childcare bill. Thais walks away with the newer electric car, no alimony obligation on either side, and no monthly support payments flowing in either direction. The court’s decision to zero out child support because childcare costs already exceed the guideline amount keeps the arrangement from creating a double-payment situation, at least on paper.

The decree settles the money, the cars, the custody calendar, and the travel rules in one document, and both parties are now responsible for the debts and accounts that carry their own names.
