Margo’s digital dreams become a real-life nightmare as her HungryGhost persona goes viral, bringing fame, family drama, and a terrifying doxxing threat in the latest episode of the Apple TV+ series.

Apple TV+’s comedy-drama series Margo’s Got Money Troubles dropped Episode 6 on May 6, 2026, and the stakes have never been higher for Elle Fanning’s young mother. What started as a creative outlet to make money has exploded into something much bigger—and much more dangerous.
The episode, titled “Grudge Match,” shows Margo launching her HungryGhost alter ego, an alien character designed to “eat” people’s anxieties, boredom, and sadness through her online content. The concept takes off quickly, with one video of the alien discovering music for the first time pushing Margo into viral fame.
But the attention comes with a heavy price. Margo gets doxxed online, and her private identity is exposed to thousands of strangers. The safety of both her and her family is suddenly at risk, turning her digital success story into a very real fear.
Episode 6 Fallout: Family Secrets And A Restraining Order
While Margo tries to handle her exploding online career, her father Jinx (Nick Offerman) is dealing with his own crisis. After a confrontation with Mark (Michael Anganaro) —the father of Margo’s baby—Jinx gets served a restraining order. Margo only finds out about the legal trouble after the papers have been delivered, adding another layer of stress to an already chaotic situation.
Jinx tries to get help from Lace, a sharp new character who gives him advice, but his mental health continues to slip. He openly tells Lace that he regrets his past mistakes with both Margo and her mother Shyanne (Michelle Pfeiffer) , but the damage may already be done.
“He realizes that what he needs to do is double down on this new improvised family situation.” – Nick Offerman on Jinx’s role in the OnlyFans art department
Thaddea Graham’s character Susie remains a bright spot, calling her time with Margo’s family “the best year of my life” while helping with creative decisions and even babysitting duties. But Margo has yet to properly pay her friend for all the video work, leaving their friendship feeling one-sided.
Meanwhile, Kenny (Greg Kinnear) surprises everyone by comparing Margo to Mary Magdalene and promising to support her through the crisis, even as his wife Shyanne softens toward her daughter. The complicated family dynamics show just how tangled everyone’s relationships have become.
