What to Expect in Season 3

The new season features three murder mysteries spread across six episodes, with each case taking two episodes to resolve.

Episode one and two, titled “The Queen of Poisons,” deal with the death of the town’s beloved mayor. Episode three and four, called “Murder in the Dark,” take the group to a university reunion at a manor house where Becks becomes a suspect. Episode five and six, “An Appetite for Murder,” involve a celebrity chef found dead at his cookbook launch.

The cases hit closer to home this season, with one mystery directly linked to Becks’ past. The team also faces the possibility that their roles as civilian advisors could be at risk.

Samantha Bond spoke about the scripts, saying the twists are “phenomenal” and that the ones in the third storyline are “colossal”.

“All the scripts have been amazing. And the twists are phenomenal but the ones in ‘An Appetite for Murder’ are colossal. I defy anyone to work them out.”

The season also includes personal storylines for the main characters. Suzie tries speed dating and trains for a new career, while Judith’s relationship with Professor Darius continues to develop.
