A Party Like Atmosphere on Set

The two filmed a difficult fight sequence smoothly. Director Kim Ji Hoon praised Gong Hyo Jin for her focus and hard work. She filmed both romantic and action scenes without any complaints.
The cast later came together to film a school festival scene. This brought a celebratory mood to the set.
“We were able to wrap up enjoyably amidst a party-like atmosphere.”
Gong Hyo Jin said those words about the final days of filming. She also spoke about taking on action for the first time in her career.
“I’ve tried action for the first time in my life, so I wondered if I could really do it, but I received help from many people, and I’m really grateful to them because I think we were able to make such a cool Yu Bo Na.”
Jung Jun Won shared mixed feelings about the ending.
“We finished seven months of filming, and there are moments I’m sad about as well as relieved, and I feel bittersweet.”
Lee Sang Yi thanked viewers for their support. He described his role as a chase that was thrilling and fun.

A Story of Two Lives
A Bona Fide Killer is based on a popular webtoon. The story follows Yu Bo Na, who works as a manager at Durumi Electronics. To her co-workers and family, she seems like an ordinary working mom. In secret, she is Kingfisher, a skilled sniper. The show mixes action, family drama, and romance. It kept viewers guessing until the very end.
The webtoon, created by GUM and YOON, has been running on Kakao Webtoon since 2022. The English version is available on Tapas. After the drama premiered, views of the webtoon increased tenfold. This shows how much interest the show created for the original story.
Kim Eun-hee wrote the drama. Yoon Jong-ho and Kim Ji-hoon directed it. The production team held a production presentation on July 30, 2026, with the full cast present.
Record Breaking Ratings for the Finale

The finale on September 12 hit a nationwide average of 10.7%. It also recorded 10.4% in the Seoul metropolitan area. The peak rating during the finale reached 12.5%.
These numbers made it the most-watched miniseries airing on Saturday. It outperformed Flex x Cop Season 2 on SBS, which drew 5.7% ratings in the same time slot. The drama aired every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST on MBC.
