Two Michael Jackson impersonators are locked in a public dispute that has moved from TikTok livestreams to the steps of a Los Angeles courthouse. Fabio Jackson, a 32-year-old lookalike with a large social media following, told TMZ on Thursday, Nov. 5, that he is dealing with harassment from the moderators who run Looze Cannon’s livestreams. Court records tell a different story so far: a search of Los Angeles Superior Court filings under Fabio’s real name, Fabio James, showed no case. The question of who, if anyone, is being sued remains unanswered.

Who Is Looze Cannon, the Detroit Performer Behind Big Michael?

Looze Cannon is the stage name of Glen Cannon, a Detroit musician, producer, DJ, and comedian who has been performing under that name since at least 2010. Before TikTok, he built an audience on the livestreaming app BIGO Live as “Bigo Jackson.” He also worked as a tour guide at the Motown Museum, a job that gave him a close link to the musical history that shaped his most famous character.

His father, also named Glen Cannon, has a long history in the music business, including work with Prince. Looze Cannon has released music including “Now Or Never” and has worked with the Detroit group R2G. His recent rise on TikTok came from freestyles delivered in character as Michael Jackson, including a trap flip of “Billie Jean” and a hook that spells out “A B C D E F G, I need M O N E Y on me.”

He crossed one million TikTok followers last month, reportedly in about three weeks. A livestream celebrating the milestone drew roughly 70,000 viewers and featured him rapping back and forth between his own voice and his Michael Jackson character. His debut single, “Big Michael Micheal,” arrived as a $1.99 direct download through StreetNoise Merch. He has said he will push the song to all digital platforms once it reaches 1,000 downloads.

Who Is Fabio Jackson, the Lookalike Who Went Viral?

Fabio Jackson, whose real name is Fabio James, is a 32-year-old Michael Jackson impersonator who first broke through with a TikTok clip of himself reacting to a street performer doing a Michael Jackson routine on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. His unscripted, impressed reaction spread widely and turned him into a viral figure.

His profile grew further when he appeared in Kanye West’s “Father” music video, directed by Bianca Censori and featuring Travis Scott. Fabio, who wore a white suit in the video, later confirmed his involvement by reposting coverage to his Instagram Stories. In April, he met Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, who plays the lead role in the biopic “Michael,” at the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Fabio has also denied rumors that he is related to Michael Jackson. He has said his resemblance to the late singer is coincidental and that he had a rhinoplasty, but not specifically to look like Jackson.

How the Feud Started: AI Filters and a Podcast Clip

The public dispute between the two performers blew up last month. Clips played on the Club Ambition Podcast showed Fabio saying that Looze “came at me first and then I responded with a video.” Fabio accused Looze of using AI face and voice filters to make his impersonation look and sound more like Michael Jackson. “Not a real face. Not a real voice,” Fabio said.

Fabio called Looze “trash,” said he wants nothing to do with him, and accused him of bullying people over disabilities and weight. He described himself as “just a Michael Jackson fan.”

Looze denied the filter claim directly. “I don’t got no AI. This is all me,” he said. The denial has been repeated in coverage from Complex and other outlets. Music producer Timbaland also weighed in, sharing a video of Looze performing without the Michael Jackson filter and writing:

“TALENT IS TALENT!!!!!!!!!! AI or no AI, @loozecannon1 got it period!!!”

The argument over AI has become the center of the dispute. Fabio argues that using filters to look and sound like Michael Jackson is not the same as building a performance with your own face and voice. Looze and his supporters say the talent is real and the filter claim is false.

What Fabio Said Outside the Courthouse

Speaking outside the Michael D. Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse in Los Angeles, Fabio gave his version of the situation to TMZ in a clip shared on X on Thursday, Nov. 5. He said the problem is not only Looze but also the people who moderate his livestreams.

“I’m dealing with some stuff now with Looze Cannon’s moderator. There’s some harassment going on right now. The moderator is just being uncontrollable. Terrorizing me like crazy. It’s been crazy.”

Asked about the beef between the two impersonators, Fabio said he does not see it that way.

“I don’t see it as beef. I’m not beefing anyone. I don’t know if you’ve seen it. But, he’s the one talking the most about me on his livestreams. I’ve never said anything that would upset him. I’m just minding my own business and he keeps talking about me. I don’t know why. I think it’s for views.”

Fabio also said Looze is “cheating” by using AI in the impersonation game.

“I really think it is cheating. Because look at how many people are out there โ€” content creators, livestreamers โ€” they are working with their own image and not cheating on anything. They don’t have to put on a show as somebody else. They’re doing their own thing. I think that is cheating. And, it’s going to hurt in the future if we keep on going with this.”

On Looze’s song “Big Michael Michael,” Fabio said it works for this generation but called it a little bit disrespectful because Michael Jackson was never a person to boast with that kind of ego. He also said he reached out in the DMs and wants Looze to respond so they can settle the issue. Fabio previously said on a livestream that he would like an apology from Looze.

What Court Records Show

The words “legal action” have been used widely in headlines about the dispute. Court records do not support the idea that a case has been filed. An online search of Los Angeles Superior Court records showed no filings under Fabio’s real name, Fabio James, at the time of publication. It is also not clear what kind of legal action Fabio is considering, whether he has spoken to a lawyer, or whether any complaint would be aimed at Looze Cannon or at his moderators.

Complex reported that Fabio accused Looze’s moderators of “harassment” but that it was not immediately clear what, if any, legal action he took or who it is aimed at. Soap Central reported the same detail: the circumstances of his court appearance remain unclear, and available information did not say whether he had filed documents, wanted to pursue a lawsuit, or was targeting Cannon or his moderators.

The gap between the headlines and the court records is the key fact in the story. A person can speak outside a courthouse without filing a case. A person can also prepare a legal claim without it appearing in public records right away. Until a filing appears, the legal side of the feud remains a claim made in an interview, not a documented lawsuit.

Looze Cannon’s Side and His Rising Fame

Looze Cannon has not directly addressed the courthouse comments in a formal statement. Coverage from Hollywood Unlocked and other outlets says he seemingly responded by trolling his “haters” on social media. Earlier, in an Oct. 19 sit-down with TMZ, he joked that he has “real beef in these streets” with other Michael Jackson impersonators.

His career has continued to grow during the dispute. Tiffany Haddish was the first celebrity to join one of his livestreams, followed by Snoop Dogg and Timbaland. He also beat Kai Cenat in a TikTok Live battle on Nov. 3, pulling in more than 1.4 million virtual gifts compared with Cenat’s more than 200,000. The battle helped Cenat accidentally reveal a TikTok creator balance of $23,232.11 during the stream.

Boxing champion Ryan Garcia also posted about Looze, writing on X:

“I’ve been dying laughing all day from the Micheal Jackson impersonator on tik tok might be the funniest stuff on the internet right now.”

The Big Michael Micheal Single and the Download Plan

Looze Cannon’s debut single carries a deliberately inconsistent title. Complex notes that the song is called “Big Michael Micheal” with each iteration of the name spelled differently. The title comes from his own lyrics and a nickname fans gave him. The song was released as a $1.99 direct download through StreetNoise Merch rather than straight to streaming services. Looze has told fans he will push it to all digital platforms once it reaches 1,000 downloads.
