WWE’s eighth Crown Jewel premium live event is set for Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the show has a new home after a late venue change. Four matches are confirmed, including two champion-versus-champion bouts for the Crown Jewel Championships, a Last Man Standing grudge match, and a World Tag Team title defense.

What Crown Jewel Is and Why This Year Stands Out

Crown Jewel first launched in 2018 in Riyadh and has become one of WWE’s two annual Saudi Arabia events. Of the seven previous editions, only the 2025 show took place outside Riyadh, in Perth, Australia. The 2026 edition was originally planned for the outdoor Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD (King Abdullah Financial District) but was moved indoors in late October.

The event is part of Riyadh Season, a broader entertainment festival in the Saudi capital, and WWE earns an estimated $50 million per Saudi show.

Date, Start Time and Global Timings

The main show begins at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Pre-show coverage starts at 10 a.m. ET.

Here is how the start time translates for viewers in key regions:

  • United States (ET): 12:00 p.m.
  • United States (PT): 9:00 a.m.
  • United Kingdom (GMT): 5:00 p.m.
  • India (IST): 10:30 p.m.
  • Saudi Arabia (AST): 8:00 p.m.
  • Australia (AEDT): 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 8

These timings follow the advertised 12 p.m. ET start confirmed by ESPN and WWE.

The Venue Change: From Outdoor Stadium to Indoor Arena

Riyadh Season announced on October 28 that Crown Jewel would no longer take place at the originally planned Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD. The official Riyadh Season account on X posted that the event was moving to a new venue, that existing ticket holders would receive full refunds, and that tickets would be re-released within 48 hours.

The ticketing page later listed “The Venue” (ANB Arena) in Riyadh as the host location. The new arena is smaller than the original outdoor stadium and is indoors, with the security benefit of an enclosed space believed to be a key reason for the switch.

Some early reports mentioned Kingdom Arena as a possible replacement, but the confirmed listing on the official Webook ticketing page points to The Venue (ANB Arena). WWE has not publicly detailed the exact reason for the move beyond the venue update.

“We would like to inform you that ‘WWE Crown Jewel’ has been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours.” โ€” Riyadh Season statement on X

Full Confirmed Match Card

Four matches are advertised for the show. The card mixes two Crown Jewel Championship contests, a personal rivalry, and a tag team title defense.

Men’s Crown Jewel Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn

Roman Reigns, the World Heavyweight Champion, faces Sami Zayn, the Undisputed WWE Champion, in a champion-versus-champion match. The bout is for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, not a defense of either man’s existing world title.

The history between the two runs through The Bloodline. Zayn was once the “Honorary Uce” before turning on Reigns and the group, and their rivalry has continued through multiple storylines. On the November 2 episode of Raw, Zayn landed a Helluva Kick on Reigns during a heated exchange, adding tension before the pay-per-view.

Reigns enters as a heavy favorite in most predictions, but Zayn’s recent momentum has made the match one of the more talked-about bouts on the card.

Women’s Crown Jewel Championship: Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green

Liv Morgan, the Women’s World Champion, takes on Chelsea Green, the WWE Women’s Champion, for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Morgan is aiming to become the first-ever two-time women’s Crown Jewel Champion; she won the inaugural women’s Crown Jewel title in 2024.

Morgan pinned Green in a six-woman tag team match on Raw leading into the event, giving her a recent edge. The Judgment Day has been in Morgan’s corner, while Green has also had support in her corner during the build.

Green’s participation was confirmed after she retained her WWE Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella on the October 30 episode of SmackDown, finalizing the champion-versus-champion matchup.

Last Man Standing Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will settle their long-running rivalry in a Last Man Standing match. The bout has no pinfalls, submissions, count-outs or disqualifications. The only way to win is to keep the opponent down for the referee’s 10-count.

The feud dates back to before WrestleMania 42, where Rhodes retained the Undisputed WWE Championship against Orton. Orton later attacked Rhodes with the championship belt and delivered a punt kick. The two have traded wins since, including Orton’s victory at Saturday Night’s Main Event in September.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis offered a Crown Jewel match after a confrontation between the two, and Rhodes demanded the Last Man Standing stipulation. Orton accepted.

World Tag Team Championship: The Vision vs. Penta and Je’Von Evans

Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, known as The Vision, defend the World Tag Team Championships against Penta and Je’Von Evans. Breakker and Theory enter as the reigning champions, while Penta and Evans are the challengers.

The match adds a tag team title bout to a card otherwise built around singles championships and a personal grudge match. It was announced in the final week before the event, completing the four-match lineup.

How to Watch Crown Jewel 2026

Streaming details vary by region. WWE has confirmed the following:

Advertisements
  • United States: The event streams live on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan. Coverage begins at 12 p.m. ET.
  • International: Netflix carries Crown Jewel in most markets outside the United States, including the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Japan, and across Europe and Asia.
  • UAE: Netflix is the streaming home for Crown Jewel in the UAE, according to The National.

Sami Zayn appeared in a WWE promotional video explaining how to watch the event on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan.

Ticket Prices and Availability

Tickets are sold through Webook, the official ticketing partner of Riyadh Season and WWE live events in Saudi Arabia. Official prices start from SAR 80 for standard general admission, with reserved upper and lower-tier seating reaching SAR 350 and above for premium grandstand sections.

Secondary market platforms list tickets starting from approximately SAR 290, with prices changing based on section and demand.

Fans who held tickets for the original venue received full refunds, and new tickets for The Venue were released within 48 hours of the venue change announcement.

What the Crown Jewel Championship Means

WWE introduced the Crown Jewel Championship in 2024 as an annual prize for the top champions in the men’s and women’s divisions. The concept pits the WWE Champion against the World Heavyweight Champion, and the WWE Women’s Champion against the Women’s World Champion, with the winners earning the Crown Jewel title for that year.

Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan were the inaugural winners in 2024. Seth Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer won the Crown Jewel Championships in 2025 at the Perth edition.

A win at Crown Jewel does not replace a wrestler’s existing championship. It adds a separate annual honor, which is why the event can feature champion-versus-champion matches without either title changing hands.

Security Concerns Around the Event

The venue change followed reported security concerns in Riyadh. Missile strikes in the region and tensions linked to the Iran War raised questions about whether the event would remain in Saudi Arabia. Airports and infrastructure targets in Saudi Arabia, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, were reported to have faced strikes in the weeks before the event.

TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel said in an October 23 interview with Fox News that “right now, everything is still set” and that the company was monitoring the situation daily and considering alternatives.

WWE and TKO have not publicly confirmed a backup location, though reports indicated a plan was in place. WWE has continued to advertise Crown Jewel for Riyadh and has moved forward with the event at The Venue.
