Comedian, podcaster, and radio host Adam Carolla received the 2,846th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 27, 2026. The ceremony took place right on his 62nd birthday at 6777 Hollywood Boulevard, making the day extra special for the man who started his career as a construction worker and boxing coach.
Longtime friends Jimmy Kimmel and Dr. Drew Pinsky showed up to support Carolla at the event. Kimmel got emotional while speaking about his old partner from “The Man Show” days, even calling Carolla his “life partner” and joking that if it “sounds gay to you, it was and it is.” Byron Allen and Joel McHale also attended the ceremony.
Carolla found it funny that he got the star in the radio category in 2026. “That’s basically like being inducted into the typewriter repair hall of fame,” he joked during his speech. He also shared that radio was his “first love” and that he listened to it while driving to construction jobs before becoming famous.

Carolla tied the knot with Lynette Paradise in September 2002 after dating her for six years. The couple had a long marriage, but Carolla filed for divorce in May 2021. The divorce took over two years to finalize.
As part of the divorce settlement, Carolla had to pay Paradise $4 million. He also pays $32,000 per month in spousal support and $17,000 per month in child support for their twins.

Carolla and his ex-wife Lynette Paradise share twins born on June 7, 2006 — daughter Natalia Carolla and son Santino Richard Carolla (also called Sonny). Carolla first got noticed on KROQ-FM in the early 1990s playing a character named “Mr. Birchum,” a grumpy high school shop teacher. He became more famous as the co-host of “Loveline” on radio and MTV alongside Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Along with Jimmy Kimmel and Daniel Kellison, Carolla created and starred in two hit Comedy Central shows — “The Man Show” (1999-2003) and “Crank Yankers” (2002-05). He also wrote six books, including the New York Times bestsellers “In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks” and “Not Taco Bell Material.”
These days, most people know Carolla from “The Adam Carolla Show,” his podcast that holds the Guinness World Record for most downloads. He started recording the podcast from his home office in February 2009, and it now gets more than 30 million downloads each month.
Kimmel gave a funny speech at the ceremony, talking about how Carolla worked his way up “from nothing to become, literally, a millionaire — and if you don’t believe it you’ll hear him say it every single show.” Kimmel also called Carolla “one of the funniest people” he has ever met and the “Laverne to my Shirley.”
Carolla’s Walk of Fame star sits at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. This marked the 2,846th star placed since the Walk of Fame was completed in 1961.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said in a statement that Carolla has “entertained audiences for decades with his sharp wit, originality, and influential voice in radio, television and podcasting.”
