Allu Arjun’s visit to Visakhapatnam turned into a massive fan event on Sunday. The actor arrived in the city to launch his new AAA Cinemas multiplex at Inorbit Mall. Fans gathered in large numbers along the Beach Road and near the mall. They blocked streets and even chased his car just to get a look at their favorite star. The actor, known for his role in Pushpa, waved at the crowd from his car’s sunroof. He also took time to click selfies with fans. I never dreamt while shooting here years ago that one day a mall might come up here and I would have a multiplex there”.

The actor also shared a very relatable story. He recalled walking freely on the streets of Vizag during the shooting of his first film, Gangotri. At that time, not many people recognized him. He said, “There was a time I would roam the streets while shooting Gangotri, and now I can’t step out”. He also mentioned, “I remember walking on the streets of Vizag during my Gangotri movie days when no one recognised me. Now, I am unable to walk on streets since I have become big popular”. This shows how much his life has changed over the years. He went from being a young actor who could walk around freely to a superstar who needs security wherever he goes.

Allu Arjun Gives Raaka Update to Eager Fans

Fans at the mall kept asking Allu Arjun about his upcoming movie, Raaka. He did not disappoint them. He gave a clear update about the film’s progress. He told the crowd, “Raaka? I’ve come here from the Raaka shoot. The shooting is going on in Mumbai, and I asked for a break to come here. I said I need to go to Vizag, see my fans and return”.

Allu Arjun Launches AAA Cinemas in Vizag

The main reason for Allu Arjun’s visit was to launch his new multiplex. AAA Cinemas is now open at Inorbit Mall in Visakhapatnam. This is a big step for the actor as a businessman. He already has two multiplexes in Hyderabad. One is AAA Cinemas in Ameerpet, which he developed with Asian Cinemas. The other is Allu Cinemas in Kokapet, which belongs to his family. Now, he has brought the same premium experience to Vizag.

The new multiplex has eight screens. It features India’s first LED Projection Q-Luxon screen. This screen measures 70 feet by 30 feet. It is the largest LED cinema screen in Andhra Pradesh. The theater also has Dolby Atmos sound for a better movie experience. There is an exclusive Icon Star Lounge for recliner ticket holders. It also has a dedicated VIP entrance and premium seating. The multiplex opened for the public on August 10.

Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, and top exhibitor Sunil Narang also attended the event. Sunil Narang spoke about his long relationship with the Allu family. He said, “We share a great bonding and we are happy to extend it into theatre business too”. He added that superstars add brand value to theater chains.

Fans Turn Vizag Into a Celebration Zone

The atmosphere in Vizag was electric on Sunday. Hundreds of fans gathered at the Visakhapatnam airport and along the NAD–Thatichetlapalem stretch. They wanted to see their hero. Videos from the event show the streets completely blocked by fans. One video shows Allu Arjun traveling with police and security. Fans mobbed his car, and he came out of the sunroof to wave at them. Another video shows fans chasing his car as it passed through Beach Road. The police worked hard to keep fans away from his vehicle.
