Is signing up for a check card worth it for the photo cards?
Actor Byeon Woo Seok, a hot issue with the “airport security” controversy, has also garnered attention for his collaboration with Nonghyeop Bank.
Nonghyeop announced an NH Travel event where customers who signed up for an NH travel check card would receive a Byeon Woo Seok photo card.
They emphasized that two photo cards would be issued to the first 10,000 first-time customers who sign up for the card.
Looking at the fine print, the photo cards would only be issued to first-time customers who signed up for the card by mail.
Photo cards would not be issued to those that signed up for the card in-person as bank locations did not have the photo cards in stock.
Previously, Byeon Woo Seok was chosen as the new model for NH Bank after his popularity from tvN’s K-Drama, Lovely Runner.
Fans were stuck in a queue as soon as the event opened at 9 AM KST and hoped they would have a chance for the photo cards.
After the server started to crash, fans ran to their nearest bank location to sign up and receive the card by mail.
The server crashed? My heart was crashing, too, so I just went to the bank. Warning! You cannot receive the card immediately. You must request to receive it in the mail to get the photo cards!
“X user: Ah so I can get the photo cards if I sign up for the card at the bank and ask for it to be mailed?
OP: Yes.
X user: Thank you.
OP: I just told them I didn’t want to receive it now and requested it be mailed. They said, ‘Ah for the photo cards?’”
What do you think? Is it worth the hassle for the two photo cards?”
