Paramount+ has dropped the full trailer for MobLand Season 2, and it shows the Harrigan crime family falling apart from the inside. The new season promises a civil war within the family as Conrad Harrigan’s own children turn against him at the height of a dangerous gang war.
MobLand Season 2 will premiere globally on September 18, 2026, on Paramount+. The second season has 10 episodes, with new episodes arriving every Friday until the season finale on November 20, 2026.
The series is produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, and Tom Hardy serve as executive producers alongside others.
The Harrigan Family Faces Civil War
The official synopsis for Season 2 says the Harrigans struggle to show a united front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire. Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy, must walk a dangerous line when tensions inside the family get worse.
The trailer shows Conrad Harrigan (Pierce Brosnan) facing threats from both outside and inside his own family. His children are ready to betray him.
Kevin Harrigan (Paddy Considine), Conrad’s son and successor, says in the trailer: “I want Conrad dead”. His daughter Seraphina Harrigan (Mandeep Dhillon) meets secretly with cartel operative Kat McAllister (Janet McTeer) and tells her: “It’s time for a change”.
“This family is on a death spiral,” Harry Da Souza warns Conrad Harrigan in the trailer.
Harry also tells the mob boss: “We’ve lost fentanyl, now heroin. We are surrounded by sharks. Ripe for the picking”. He warns that the war against the Harrigans has “already begun”.
New Gang War Threatens to Destroy Everything
The new season picks up after the violent events of Season 1. The Harrigans are losing ground in the North London drug market. Their rivals are noticing the cracks in the family.
Kat McAllister (Janet McTeer) and her alliance with retired police detective Colin Tattersall (Toby Jones) could bring down the Harrigans if they are not careful. New cast member Johnny Flynn plays a character working for Kat who is not afraid to use violence.
The trailer ends with Conrad vowing to protect his empire as he wields a machine gun and shouts: “If you want a war, I’ll give you a war”.

Tom Hardy Confirmed for Season 3
Reports surfaced earlier that Tom Hardy might not return for future seasons. But those rumours have been put to rest. Hardy is now confirmed to return for Season 3 as well.
Helen Mirren defended Hardy, and Guy Ritchie helped bring everyone together to resolve the issues. The show was renewed for Season 2 after scoring more than 26 million viewers, making it the second most-watched original series on Paramount+.
The first season of MobLand broke the streamer’s biggest global series launch record on premiere day with 2.2 million subscribers and 9.7 million views.

What to Expect From Season 2
The new season will show the Harrigans dealing with more than just external threats. The civil war within the family will be a major part of the plot.
Harry Da Souza is caught in the middle. His wife Jan warns him: “You’ve spent all your life fixing for that family. You’re not the remedy”.
The trailer also shows Conrad holding a gun to his son Kevin’s head. The violence spills into every part of their lives, and loyalties break.
