The romantic K-drama My Bias, My Boss finished its 12-episode run on September 8, 2026. The series followed Nam Da-reum (Kim Hye-jun), a passionate fan who joins a fashion startup called APPELLO to work near her idol Lee Chan (Cha Woo-min). But things get complicated when she ends up in a love triangle with her strict CEO, Kang Ha-gi (Kang Hoon). The finale answered the big question on every viewer’s mind: after her Paris assignment, does Da-reum end up with her bias or her boss?
Here is a complete breakdown of how the series wrapped up.
Da-reum Gets a Paris Assignment Opportunity
In the final episodes, Da-reum received a chance to work in Paris for APPELLO’s collaboration with the brand HAN. This came after CEO Han Jeong Yeon advised her to take on more challenges. For Da-reum, who had worked harder than anyone since joining APPELLO, this Paris assignment was a big opportunity to grow in her career.
But taking the assignment meant she would have to leave Ha-gi and move to France. This put the couple at a major decision point between love and their dreams.
Ha-gi Supports Da-reum’s Career Move
Ha-gi encouraged Da-reum to accept the Paris offer. He told her she should take the chance. But inside, he was quietly struggling with the thought of their relationship suffering because of the distance.
Min-woo told Ha-gi to let Da-reum go, reminding him that she needed this opportunity to grow. He also said that some distance could make their relationship stronger. Meanwhile, Da-reum’s friends Mi-mi and Seul-a warned her that long-distance relationships rarely work out. They urged her to think carefully before going to Paris, even though it was something she really wanted.
Da-reum Decides to Go to Paris
After thinking it through, Da-reum decided to take the Paris assignment for her professional growth. She had Ha-gi’s love and support. The couple packed her things together and promised that nothing would hurt their relationship. They agreed to stay strong even while being apart.
Da-reum Returns from Paris and Gets a Proposal
After spending months in France, Da-reum came back to Korea. She reunited with Ha-gi. In a happy moment, Ha-gi proposed to her. The series ended with the couple together and looking forward to their future.
In the last episode, Ha-gi encourages Da-reum to accept the Paris assignment for her collaboration with Han. He tells her that she should take the opportunity.
Lee Chan and DNX Make a Comeback
The finale also gave Lee Chan and his band DNX a happy ending. With Da-reum’s encouragement, Lee Chan found his passion for music again. He convinced his former bandmates to reunite. DNX made a comeback with a performance and a new song for their fans. Roy, who had left the group, also returned after Lee Chan reached out to him.
Mr. Choi Apologizes to Ha-gi
Mr. Choi, who had betrayed APPELLO by working as a spy for SE, apologized to Ha-gi. He was now working at a car-wash showroom and admitted that he regretted what he did. Ha-gi received the apology, bringing some closure to that part of the story.
Who Does Da-reum End Up With?
Da-reum ended up with her boss, Kang Ha-gi. Even though she went to Paris for work, she kept her relationship with Ha-gi. When she returned to Korea, he proposed to her. The show made it clear that Da-reum chose love with Ha-gi while also growing in her career.
