New stills released before the episode show the couple visiting several date spots and taking pictures together. Se-gye looks relaxed and happy, which is very different from his usual cold and distant personality. Fans have waited a long time to see this side of the character.

The episode will also show Se-gye calling Seo-ri by her past life name, Kang Dan-shim. He still believes he is dreaming about his memories from the Joseon era. But Seo-ri already knows the truth about who he was. This creates a complicated situation between them.

What Happened in Episode 9 Before the Date

Episode 9, which aired on Friday, June 5, showed Cha Se-gye starting to remember his past life as a young prince from the Joseon Dynasty. He called Shin Seo-ri by the name Kang Dan-shim, the villainess who possessed Seo-ri in the present day. Se-gye does not fully understand what is happening to him and thinks these memories are just strange dreams.

Moon-do, the main antagonist who also carries memories from the past, continues to cause problems for the couple. Episode 10 might explore whether Seo-ri tries to protect Se-gye from Moon-do’s tricks or if she ends up getting trapped herself because of her connection to Kang Dan-shim.
