Park Seo Joon addressed rumors of a feud with Kim Soo Hyun by sharing a sweet update about his dog, Simba. This simple act seemed to quiet the online chatter that suggested a hidden message in a previous social media post.
Simba’s Update and Calm Response
On March 18, Park Seo Joon posted a photo of Simba on his social media, writing, “Simba updateโฅ” and “My baby updateโฅ.” His affectionate posts about his pet appeared to be a way to show his relaxed state, despite the recent rumors.

The speculation began after Park posted photos from a trip to Paris on March 16. He captioned the photos, “What did I do in Paris? Garo.” This seemingly normal post led to rumors that it was a jab at Kim Soo Hyun.
The Rumors Explained
The rumors gained momentum after Kim Se Eui, from the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, claimed that Park’s caption had a hidden meaning. Kim Se Eui stated,
“Isn’t this very suggestive? Kim Soo Hyun’s nickname used to be ‘YouTuber Kim Paris.’ ‘YouTuber Kim Paris’ reportedly exchanged romantic letters with Kim Sae Ron (nicknamed ‘Serone’ by Kim Soo Hyun). And then Park Seo Joon posted ‘What did I do in Paris? Garo,’ which could be interpreted as a reference to Garo Sero (horizontal and vertical).”
Kim Se Eui also added,
“I even left a comment on Park Seo Joon’s post saying, ‘I’m rooting for you, Park Seo Joon.’ The friendship between Kim Soo Hyun and Park Seo Joon seems to be extremely fragile.”
However, fans quickly pointed out that Park Seo Joon had used “Garo” in captions before. In December, he posted a photo from a trip to Miyazaki, Japan, with the caption “In Miyazaki Garo.” This previous use of the term made the feud rumors seem unfounded.
Rumors Put to Rest
Park’s recent post about Simba, combined with the fact that he has used “Garo” in other posts, appears to have put the rumors to rest.
