The upcoming crime drama The Good Daughter has locked in its global release dates. Peacock confirmed the series will premiere on November 12, 2026, with all episodes available at once. Australian audiences can watch on Stan from November 13, 2026. UK viewers will find the show on Sky and streaming service NOW in 2026.
The series adapts Karin Slaughter’s bestselling 2017 novel. The author herself serves as showrunner and writer for all episodes. Watchmen director Steph Green directed and executive produced every episode.
What Is The Good Daughter About?
The story follows sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn, who have spent 28 years trying to rebuild their lives after a single night of violence tore their family apart. The attack left their mother dead and changed everything for the Quinn family.
Now, another attack strikes the small town of Pikeville. Charlotte, who became a lawyer like her father, is the first person at the scene. The case forces her to face painful memories and buried secrets from the past.
The official logline describes the series as “a suspenseful thriller wrapped in a deeply emotional story about love, family, and resilience”. The story explores the bond between a father and his daughters, along with the complicated relationship between sisters.
The Good Daughter Episode Count and Release Format
The Good Daughter is a limited series with six episodes. Each episode runs for 60 minutes. Some sources have listed eight episodes, but Peacock’s official announcement confirmed six episodes.
All episodes will be released simultaneously on November 12, 2026, on Peacock. This means viewers can watch the entire season in one go without waiting for weekly releases.
