Hui-ju had heard enough. She did not wait for I-an to respond. Instead, she stood up, told Yi-rang to excuse them, and pulled I-an out of the dining hall. She did not ask him if the accusations were true or demand explanations. She simply got him out of that situation.
I-an then asked Hui-ju to take him away from the palace. They went for a drive, and he admitted that driving made him feel free. She invited him to her yacht to show him a different kind of freedom.
The Yacht Scene Brings a Major Romance Moment
On the yacht, Hui-ju sent all the staff away. She told I-an he could do whatever he wanted for the night. He ate raw food, which he never gets to do in the palace. When he got indigestion, she teased him but also helped him feel better.
Then they went to the sundeck. The two recreated a famous movie scene, with I-an holding Hui-ju from behind as the yacht moved forward. When Hui-ju shifted her position, she stumbled and fell onto I-an. They ended up on a sunbed with her on his chest.
She tried to pull away, but he held her close. Then he flipped her over and reminded her that she had given him permission to do whatever he wanted. He kissed her. She kissed him back. The episode ended with them sharing another kiss, making it clear that feelings between them are growing.
The Engagement Creates New Problems Behind the Scenes
The proposal did not just affect I-an and Hui-ju. Other characters have started making their own moves. Tae-joon and his wife see the engagement as a chance to take over Castle Beauty, Hui-ju’s company. If she becomes a royal, palace rules might force her to step away from work.
On the other side, Jeong-woo continues to struggle with his feelings for Hui-ju. He danced with her at the banquet and thought back to high school when he saved her from a locked elevator. He agreed to support her marriage only if she promised never to lie to him again. But he noticed how she kept looking at I-an during their dance.
