The docuseries will cover four Star Trek: The Next Generation feature films: Generations (1994), First Contact (1996), Insurrection (1998), and Nemesis (2002). Some of the notable names include Jonathan Frakes (Riker), Brent Spiner (Data), Walter Koenig (Chekov from the original series), Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher), F. Murray Abraham, James Cromwell, Malcolm McDowell, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. The series also includes one of the final interviews with the late Leonard Nimoy before his passing.
Behind-the-scenes creatives are also part of the project. Writers and producers like Ronald D. Moore, Brannon Braga, Rick Berman, and Bryan Fuller share their experiences working on the films. Doug Drexler, a makeup designer and visual effects specialist, and Michael Westmore, a legendary makeup artist, also appear.

The Center Seat II: 60 Years of Star Trek will be available on multiple platforms starting September 8, 2026. Fans can watch it on Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, Apple TV, and The Nacelle Company’s official YouTube page. The entire five-episode season will drop on the same day.
The first season of The Center Seat originally aired on The History Channel, but the second season is getting a wider release to make it easier for fans around the world to watch. The Nacelle Company has also posted all 11 episodes of the first season on their YouTube channel for free.
