Story Recap: What Happened So Far
The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World tells the story of Rin Takanashi, a woman in her late twenties who loves camping and outdoor cooking. She is summoned to a fantasy world to become a saintess, but the prince who summoned her deems her skills worthless and casts her out into the wilderness.
Instead of feeling sorry for herself, Rin embraces her freedom. She possesses two special abilities: Survival, which gives her expert knowledge of camping and cooking, and the power to summon a motor home she calls Mochan. Using these skills, Rin sets off on a road trip across the new world, cooking gourmet meals with fantasy ingredients and meeting various companions along the way.
Throughout her journey, Rin has encountered Vil, a draghoul adventurer she accidentally caught while fishing, and Gomamiso, a mysterious companion whose true identity plays a key role in the story. The group has explored dungeons, battled monsters, and shared many meals together.
What to Expect in Episode 10
Episode 10 is titled “Chūsen-sen” (Middle Battle). According to previews, Rin discovers Gomamiso’s true identity and uncovers a troubling clue about the Saintess Summoning. The episode will likely reveal more about the mysterious circumstances surrounding Rin’s summoning and the true nature of the world she now calls home.
The production team has released a preview and stills for Episode 10 ahead of its September 7 debut.
