Actor Kang Ha Neul has claimed the number one spot in the latest Korean actor brand reputation rankings for November 2025. The rankings, which measure public engagement and media presence, saw Lee Junho and Choi Woo Shik following closely behind in a highly competitive month.
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 137,552,632 pieces of data from 100 popular actors to determine the rankings. The evaluation period ran from October 18 to November 18, 2025, and measured factors including media coverage, consumer participation, communication, and community engagement. Compared to October’s data, this represents a 9.27% decrease in total brand big data analyzed.
How the Rankings Are Determined
The brand reputation index is calculated using a sophisticated analysis of multiple factors. Researchers examine the media coverage, public participation, social media interaction, and community discussion surrounding each actor. This comprehensive approach provides insight into which performers are capturing public attention and driving conversations throughout the country.
The institute’s director, Koo Chang-hwan, noted that detailed analysis shows brand consumption fell by 12.24% and brand issues decreased by 17.50% compared to October figures. Despite this overall decrease in data volume, several actors showed significant engagement with audiences.
The Top Five Performers
Kang Ha Neul secured the top position with a total brand reputation index of 3,686,409 points. His recent film “The First Ride” contributed to his strong performance. Analysis of his keywords showed prominent associations with terms like “cheerful,” “prolific,” and “hardworking.” The positive reaction to his brand reached 87.02%.
In second place, Jo Woo Jin achieved a brand reputation index of 3,236,735 points. The actor has maintained a consistent presence in both film and television projects throughout the measurement period.
Lee Jung Jae captured third position with 3,034,145 points. The acclaimed actor continues to maintain strong public recognition following his international success in “Squid Game.”
Rounding out the top five were Ryu Seung Ryong in fourth place with 2,929,996 points and Lee Byung Hun in fifth with 2,812,357 points.

Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation provided insight into Kang Ha Neul’s top performance. “In the link analysis for Kang Ha Neul, who ranked first in the November 2025 actor brand reputation rankings, the terms ‘cheerful,’ ‘prolific,’ and ‘hardworking’ were prominent,” he noted. The keyword analysis also highlighted strong associations with his recent project “First Ride” and co-star “Cha Eun Woo.”
The brand reputation rankings serve as a valuable indicator of which actors are currently resonating most strongly with the Korean public. The rankings often reflect recent project releases, media appearances, and public engagement activities undertaken by the performers during the measurement period.
