Catalina Sandino Moreno, who plays Tabitha Matthews on the hit horror series From, has given fans a clearer idea of when to expect the next chapter. In a recent interview, the actress shared that the highly anticipated fourth season is likely to arrive in the coming months, narrowing down the previously confirmed 2026 release window.

This update comes shortly after production on the new season concluded in November 2025. With the last episode of Season 3 airing on November 24, 2024, fans have been eager for news on the show’s return. Moreno’s comments suggest the wait for new episodes may be slightly shorter than the break between previous seasons.

Release Window Details and Star’s Comments

During an interview while promoting her new Netflix film The Rip, Catalina Sandino Moreno was asked about the timeline for From Season 4. She provided a promising update directly to fans.

“I don’t know exactly. I think it’s coming out March, [maybe] April. But it’s coming out. It’s a great season. You’re gonna love it,” Moreno told The Direct.

She went on to describe the unique appeal of the series, which has garnered a dedicated fanbase. Moreno compared watching the show to a familiar snack experience.

“I describe that show asโ€ฆ you open up Pringles, and you take one, and then you keep just popping [them] in your mouth, because it’s addictive to watchโ€ฆ It’s easy, it’s fun, it’s entertaining. It’s a good show, and this season is gonna be great”.

This potential March or April 2026 premiere indicates a focused effort by the network, MGM+, to deliver the new season. Filming wrapped in late 2025, making this a relatively quick post-production turnaround for a series with complex visual effects. If this window holds, the gap between seasons will be approximately 15 to 17 months. This is similar to, or slightly shorter than, the 17-month gap between the Season 2 finale in June 2023 and the Season 3 premiere in September 2024.

What to Expect in From Season 4

Season 3 concluded with some of the series’ most shocking revelations, fundamentally changing the understanding of the town and its trapped residents. The finale confirmed that Tabitha (Moreno) is a reincarnation of Miranda, who was Victor’s mother during the town’s 1970s cycle. Similarly, Jade (David Alpay) was revealed to be Christopher, Miranda’s husband in that past life. This couple failed to save their daughter from a dark ritual, which is connected to the creation of the town’s monstrous inhabitants.

These major reveals are expected to be a central focus as the story continues. The dynamic between Tabitha and Jade, now aware of their profound past connection, will likely be explored further. The season also introduced a sinister new figure, the Man in the Yellow Suit, played by Douglas E. Hughes. This character is poised to become a major recurring threat in the upcoming season.

Series creator John Griffin has hinted at the direction for the new episodes, stating that “a new journey begins” in Season 4.

“The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare,” Griffin said.

Lead actor Harold Perrineau, who plays Sheriff Boyd Stevens, has also teased that internal conflict will rise. He expects to see a “rift” and “division” forming among the residents of the town as pressures mount.

New casting news includes the addition of Julia Doyle (known for Astrid & Lilly Save the World) as Sophia. The character is described as a sheltered and vulnerable pastor’s daughter. While most main cast members are expected to return, the fate of Jim Matthews (Eion Bailey) remains uncertain after the events of the Season 3 finale. The show has a history of characters returning in unexpected ways, leaving the door open for various possibilities.

The Growing Popularity of the Horror Series

Since its quiet debut in February 2022, From has steadily built a reputation as a standout horror series. It has earned an impressive 96% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes across its first three seasons. Season 3 achieved a perfect 100% score on the review aggregator site.

The series has also won praise from one of the most famous names in horror. Legendary author Stephen King has publicly expressed his admiration for the show, further solidifying its credibility within the genre.

The story begins when travelers become inexplicably trapped in a seemingly normal small town. They soon discover the community is plagued by terrifying nocturnal creatures and must search for a way to escape while uncovering the dark mysteries of their prison. The show is often noted for maintaining a tense, mysterious atmosphere while gradually peeling back layers of its complex mythology.
