Prime Video has changed the release plan for the end of Fallout Season 2, letting fans see the finale a day earlier than first scheduled. The last episode will now come out in a primetime slot, shifting from a midnight drop to an evening release for most of the world.
The streaming service announced a last-minute update to the schedule for the final two episodes. Fallout Season 2, Episode 8, titled “The Strip,” will now premiere on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM Pacific Time (9:00 PM Eastern Time). This change also applied to Episode 7, which moved to Tuesday, January 27 at the same time. The episodes were originally set to release at midnight on Wednesdays. Amazon made the choice because of what it called “strong participation and interest” from the audience.

The story is set in the year 2296, which is 15 years after the events of the Fallout: New Vegas video game. A major moment in Episode 7 involved The Ghoul using a Cold Fusion diode to power up a terminal in the Lucky 38 casino, leading to an appearance by the mysterious Robert House (played by Justin Theroux), who has been a major figure this season.
This has sparked fan debate about whether the show is confirming a specific ending from the New Vegas game as official story canon, though the show’s creators have previously said they wanted to avoid directly picking one game ending as the true one.
