What Happened in Episode 6

Episode 6 focused on a big attack at the Kagemori residence. A pair of assassins with yin-yang Daemons broke in, trying to capture or kill the twins.

One of the enemy Daemons pulled Right and Asa into a dark void. Inside the darkness, Asa’s fear came back. But Right stayed with her and helped her stay calm. Meanwhile, Yuru and Left ended up in a white space. Yuru used that time to practice shooting his new bow, staying focused as always.

“Asa showed the true, terrible power of her Break ability. She has the ability to break a daemon’s contract with its master, thus stealing it in the middle of a battle.”

Asa used her power called “Break” to take control of the enemy Daemons. This ability lets her break the contract between a Tsugai and its master. It is very powerful, which explains why many groups want the twins.

Gabu also had a moment when one attacker called Daemons “livestock.” She reacted strongly, suggesting her past connects to something deeper.

The episode ended with Asa telling Yuru she had died once before, killed by a Higashi Village assassin. The screen cut to black right after.

What to Expect in Episode 7: “Asa and Break”

The preview for episode 7 shows several flashback scenes. A young Yuru and his father appear in a forest, with Yuru looking very scared. Another shot shows their mother sitting outside a cage with young Asa inside.

This confirms that Asa was kept in darkness from a very young age. The episode will likely explain more about her past and why she wears an eyepatch.

The preview also shows a strange object wrapped in white cloth with a red hexagon pattern. It could be a seal or something connected to the twins’ powers.

Gabu appears running with a worried expression, as if she is trying to reach somewhere before it is too late. The final shot shows Asa with red light coming from her covered eye.

The episode title “Asa and Break” directly points to her special ability. Viewers may finally learn how her power works and what happened when she died.
