The Prime Video series Off Campus is building its second season before the first one even arrives on screens. The show has found its lead pair for the next chapter, bringing in India Fowler to play Grace Ivers. The announcement confirms that the adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series is moving forward with the second novel’s storyline.
India Fowler Joins the Hockey Romance Drama as Series Regular
India Fowler will join Off Campus Season 2 as a series regular, taking on the role of Grace Ivers. She will act opposite Antonio Cipriano, who plays college hockey player John Logan. The news broke through entertainment outlets including Deadline and Variety, with the show’s official Instagram also sharing a video of Cipriano personally inviting Fowler to join the production in Vancouver.
Grace Ivers is written as a sociology freshman trying to find her place at Briar University. In the book series, her romance with Logan is the main focus of “The Mistake,” the second book in Kennedy’s popular series. The first season of “Off Campus,” which arrives on May 13, 2026, covers “The Agreement,” the first book following Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells.
What Grace Ivers’ Arrival Means for Season 2 Storyline
The casting of India Fowler strongly points to Season 2 adapting “The Mistake.” In the source material, Grace meets Logan during her freshman year. She returns as a sophomore with more confidence and a no-nonsense attitude toward the star hockey player. The book follows their complicated relationship as it grows throughout their college journey.
Amazon MGM Studios has not officially confirmed which book Season 2 will follow. But the introduction of Grace as a series regular makes the direction clear. The show received an early renewal in February 2026, before the first season premiere. The second season is scheduled to start filming in Vancouver on June 1, 2026, and will continue until September 18, 2026.
Phillipa Soo Also Joins the Cast for Recurring Role
Alongside India Fowler, Phillipa Soo will join Season 2 in a recurring role. The Hamilton star will play Scarlett, a theatre artist who comes to the college as a guest director for an original play in the drama department. Her character brings a creative angle to the story that does not directly involve the hockey team.
“Fowler has been cast in a series regular role as Grace Ivers, a sociology freshman navigating life at Briar University. Her character is set to become the love interest of John Logan.”
