The latest episodes of Boys 2 Planet, episodes 5 and 6, brought major changes to the competition. The show, which started as two separate sections for Korean (Planet K) and Chinese (Planet C) trainees, has now merged into one. The interim rankings for Boys 2 Planet were updated on July 31, combining votes from both Planet K and Planet C. The current top eight trainees are:

Format Change: From Two Groups to One
Originally, Boys 2 Planet was supposed to debut two separate groupsโone from Planet K and one from Planet C. However, Mnet changed the format midway, deciding that only one final group will be formed, combining the best trainees from both sections.
