Brad Pitt is bringing back his Oscar-winning character Cliff Booth, and the movie now has an official name. Netflix announced on August 26 that the follow-up to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” will be called “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth“.
The project had been known as “The Adventures of Cliff Booth” during development. The new title gives a clear signal that audiences are in for more wild stories with the Hollywood stuntman.
David Fincher is directing the film, with Quentin Tarantino writing the script. This marks a reunion for Pitt and Fincher, who previously worked together on “Se7en,” “Fight Club,” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”.
The Movie Hits IMAX Theaters in November Before Netflix Debut in December
Fans will get to see the film on the big screen first. “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth” will have a two-week exclusive IMAX run globally starting November 25. After that, it will arrive on Netflix on December 23.
This two-step release plan gives movie lovers a chance to experience the film in premium format before it becomes available for streaming at home.
