Diljit Dosanjh has shared a straightforward reason why his fans in Bihar have not seen him perform live yet. During an Instagram Live session after his Delhi concert on October 30, 2026, the Punjabi singer and actor revealed that a plan to hold a show in Bihar was discussed, but it fell apart because the authorities asked his team to take responsibility for crowd management.
The singer, who kicked off his Aura India Tour 2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, explained the situation in Punjabi while answering a fan’s question about when he would come to Bihar.
What Diljit Said About the Bihar Show
Diljit Dosanjh recalled that an attempt was made to organise a concert in Bihar last year as well. The talks hit a wall when the question of managing the massive crowd came up. According to the singer, the authorities said it would be difficult to handle the crowd and asked if his side would take on that responsibility.
“We tried to go to Bihar; we had attempted to go to Bihar last time as well. But they said it was difficult to manage the crowd. They asked if we would take responsibility for it. I said that we couldn’t; they would have to take that responsibility. Since they didn’t, we couldn’t go.”
Diljit explained that managing a crowd at his concert is not a small task. He compared it to organising an event in a major city like Delhi, pointing out that a show of that scale involves much more than just the performance on stage. Security, crowd control, parking, and safe entry and exit for thousands of fans all need to be sorted out.
Why Crowd Management Is a Big Deal at Diljit’s Shows
Diljit Dosanjh’s live performances draw thousands of fans, and the demand for tickets is consistently high. The Delhi show itself had a close call with permission. The Delhi Police initially held back clearance for the October 30 concert, citing security inputs and festive-season commitments in the capital.
The organisers, BookMyShow Live, came back with a revised plan that included close to 2,000 private security guards, a 700-metre no-car zone around the venue, and clearly mapped crowd-management systems. The police reviewed the plan and cleared the show, allowing the tour opener to go ahead.
That contrast is at the centre of the Bihar situation. Delhi had an organiser willing to put together a detailed safety plan. In Bihar, according to Diljit’s account, no one was ready to take on that responsibility for the expected crowd.
Bihar Is Not on the Aura India Tour Schedule
The RuPay Aura India Tour 2026 has confirmed stops in several cities across India. After the Delhi opener on October 30, the tour is set to travel to Indore on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27, Bengaluru on November 29, and Lucknow on December 5. Chandigarh and Kolkata are also listed as upcoming stops with dates and venues yet to be announced.
Bihar does not appear on the announced itinerary. No new date or venue for a Bihar show has been shared by Diljit or his team.
Diljit’s Message to Fans After the Delhi Show
The Instagram Live session was not only about Bihar. Diljit also spoke about the hurdles around the Delhi concert and thanked the police and security forces for their support. He acknowledged that some people tried to stop the show but said the concert went ahead as planned.
“I know a lot of people will make fun of me. Many news channels will also make fun of me and create negative energy. But no matter how much negative energy you create, I’m still here, baby. I’m not going anywhere. I’ve been working here for 25 years. I’ll stop only when I want to.”
The singer also made a practical request to fans attending his Delhi show: use the Delhi Metro instead of personal vehicles, since the venue had no parking facilities and traffic restrictions were in place around the stadium.

What This Means for Fans in Bihar
For now, there is no confirmed Bihar concert date. Diljit’s comments make it clear that the door is not permanently closed, but any future show would depend on the necessary crowd-management and security arrangements being put in place by organisers or local authorities.
The situation is a common one for large-scale tours in India. Cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad have established systems for handling big events. Taking a show of Diljit’s size to a state like Bihar requires local promoters and authorities to share the responsibility for safety and logistics, and according to the singer, that share was not taken up last time.
Diljit Dosanjh continues his Aura India Tour 2026 through November and December. Fans in Bihar will be watching for any official word on a new attempt to bring the show to their state.
