Garosero Research Institute has ignited a controversy by releasing photos of the late actress Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun, claiming they were a couple. The institute also shared a past social media post and threatened to release more evidence if Kim Soo Hyun does not issue a public apology.
Couple Photos and Social Media Claims
On March 13, Garosero Research Institute uploaded a video to YouTube, titled “Kim Sae Ron Driven to Death by LKB.” Within the video, they presented photos showing Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun together, suggesting a romantic relationship. Furthermore, they showed a 2016 Twitter post from Kim Sae Ronโs account. The institute claimed that, in this post, Kim Soo Hyun used the nickname “Saeronaero” when referring to Kim Sae Ron. They described it as a love letter.
Further Evidence and Past Interviews
Garosero Research Institute stated they possess more photos and evidence to support their claims. They also referenced a past interview where Kim Sae Ron was asked which male lead from a drama or movie made her heart flutter. Kim Sae Ron named Do Min Joon from “My Love from the Star,” a role played by Kim Soo Hyun. The institute said this response gains new meaning given the current situation.
The institute also noted that Kim Sae Ron had previously sent a coffee truck to the filming set of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” a drama starring Kim Soo Hyun. This action, they argued, adds weight to the speculation about their relationship.
Demand for an Apology and Threats of Further Disclosure
Garosero Research Institute stated that Kim Sae Ron’s family wants a sincere and public apology. They warned that if Kim Soo Hyunโs agency does not release an apology in their official statement next week, they will release more material. This includes a photo allegedly showing Kim Soo Hyun washing dishes at Kim Sae Ron’s home while unclothed.
The institute also mentioned that Kim Soo Hyun is currently acting in MBC’s “Good Day” and said they will monitor his future activities.
Finally, the Garosero Research Institute mentioned a national petition asking for sanctions against YouTubers who allegedly harassed Kim Sae Ron. The petition is close to 50,000 signatures. They encouraged the public to participate.
