The controversy began when the bereaved family of Kim Sae Ron alleged, through the YouTube channel ‘Garosero Research Institute,’ that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were in a romantic relationship from 2015 to 2021. They claimed the relationship started when Kim Sae Ron was 15.
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has firmly denied these allegations, labeling them “unfounded falsehoods that cannot be overlooked.”
However, the situation escalated with the reported release of text messages and photos. These photos show Kim Soo Hyun giving Kim Sae Ron a cheek kiss, and letters he allegedly wrote to her during his military service.
