They also gave Go Min Si the special title of “D Awards Muse,” and Lee Jong Won was named the “D Awards Maestro.” This marks their first time hosting an awards show.

About the D Awards

The D Awards are organized by the media outlet Sports DongA. The awards will be given in two categories:

  • D Awards Delights: This category recognizes established K-pop artists who have made a big impact over the past year.
  • D Awards Dreamers: This category celebrates talented new artists who are expected to shape the future of K-content.

The first D Awards ceremony will happen on February 22 at 6 p.m. KST at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium.
