Kim Jae Yeong is taking on one of his most unusual roles yet. The South Korean actor, known for romantic roles in Love in Contract and The Judge from Hell, plays the CEO of a sex toy startup in TVING’s upcoming romantic comedy Make Me Tingle. The drama pairs him with Nam Ji Hyun, his former co-star from the 2018 series 100 Days My Prince. What Make Me Tingle Is About
Make Me Tingle is a coming-of-age romantic comedy about two people with completely opposite views on love. Gong Yeon Su, played by Nam Ji Hyun, is a marketer raised in a strict, traditional household. She follows conservative rules about dating and relationships and has never truly understood what love means for her.
Dokgo Dal, played by Kim Jae Yeong, runs a startup that sells sex toys. He believes there are no set rules for love and relationships. He sees physical connection as simple and natural, and he does not hesitate to share his opinions, often shocking the people around him. The two meet when Gong Yeon Su’s advertising agency takes on Dokgo Dal’s company as a client. Their different personalities clash at first, but they slowly develop feelings for each other.

Kim Jae Yeong plays Dokgo Dal, a character with a bold personality and an open mind. He accepts other people’s dating styles and sexual orientations without judgment. New stills released by the production team show Dokgo Dal going about his workday. In one photo, he arrives at his office and receives reports from his vice president. In another, he visits a sex toy store that sells products from his own brand, checking which items sell best and watching how customers respond. He also visits a lifestyle shop that sells different kinds of products, looking for ways to make the sex toy market easier for new customers to enter. The photos show his careful, hands-on approach to running his business.
A teaser trailer for the drama was released on September 15. In the clip, Dokgo Dal promotes condoms at a club with the message “no condom, no sex.” When someone asks what kind of company he runs, he answers plainly: “It’s a sex toy company.” Gong Yeon Su, examining his products, asks, “Do we really have to confirm love with that?” Dokgo Dal tells her to let go of her prejudices and take a closer look.

Nam Ji Hyun plays Gong Yeon Su, a marketer who grew up in a traditional family that values courtesy and discipline above all else. She is the eldest daughter of the family’s main branch and undergoes strict training from a young age. Stills released on September 21 show her daily life: sitting with family elders in the morning, listening to long lessons from her grandparents, preparing food for ancestral memorial rites, and helping make fermented soybean paste at home.
Her life takes a sharp turn when she meets Dokgo Dal. Their professional relationship as client and agency representative slowly turns into something more personal. Nam Ji Hyun previously appeared in Good Partner and To My Beloved Thief. This drama marks her reunion with Kim Jae Yeong after they played siblings in 100 Days My Prince.
Release Date And Where To Watch
Make Me Tingle will premiere on October 15, 2026. The first four episodes will be released on that day.
For viewers in South Korea, the drama will stream on TVING, the local platform that produced the series. International audiences can watch it on HBO Max, which will release the show in many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and India.
New episodes will be released every Thursday. Two episodes will arrive each week after the first batch of four. The series has a total of 10 episodes, and the final episode is scheduled for November 5, 2026.
