Marc Anthony has spoken out after being named in Brooklyn Beckham’s public family statement, describing the situation as “extremely unfortunate” and suggesting the public narrative is not accurate. The singer broke his silence weeks after Brooklyn accused his mother, Victoria Beckham, of inappropriate behavior during his 2022 wedding reception where Anthony performed.

The DJ also provided some context about the style of the dance itself, addressing public speculation. “There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!” he clarified. He said Anthony instructed Brooklyn to “place your hands on your mother’s hips” for a Latin-style dance.
