Bigg Boss 20 contestant Aman Gandhi has taken a sharp dig at fellow housemate Aasif Khan, calling him a “sasti copy” (cheap copy) of the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan. The remark came during a conversation with Qazi Touqeer, Mahhi Vij, and other housemates in the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.
Aman also labelled Aasif a “manipulator” and questioned his influence inside the house. The comment has sparked fresh debate among viewers, with many taking Aman’s side and criticising the Panchayat star for his behaviour during his time on the show.
What Exactly Did Aman Gandhi Say
During a chat with Qazi, Mahhi, and others, Aman did not hold back. He said:
“He is the sasti copy of Irrfan Khan. He is the brain of the group; otherwise, all others are stupid.”
Qazi responded by praising Aasif’s craft, saying, “But he is a world-class actor.” Mahhi, however, took a different view. She said, “He might be a very good actor, but he disappointed me in the game.”
The conversation revealed the growing divide inside the house. Aman has been critical of Aasif’s approach to the game, while some housemates still acknowledge his acting talent. The remarks were captured in a promo shared by the channel, and the clip quickly went viral across social media platforms.
How the Rivalry Started
The tension between Aman and Aasif is not new. The two contestants have been at odds since the early days of Bigg Boss 20, which premiered on September 6, 2026. Their clashes have moved from professional jabs to personal attacks.
Aasif has repeatedly questioned Aman’s acting skills and made comments about his appearance. He told Aman to look in the mirror before commenting on others. On another occasion, Aasif claimed Aman built his physique with the help of injections.
Aman, on his part, has fired back with sharp responses. During the first Weekend Ka Vaar episode on September 12, the two got into a heated argument where Aasif called Aman a “jaahil” (uneducated). Aman hit back by calling Aasif “expired chaat masala” and “chhichhora.” The situation became so intense that Aasif warned Aman to meet him outside the show.
Housemates and Viewers React
The reaction to Aman’s latest comment has been mixed but largely supportive. Many viewers agreed with his assessment of Aasif’s behaviour inside the house.
One user wrote, “Aman Gandhi is really smart vro, he understood that ‘sasta Irrfan’ Khan is the main manipulator of this season.” Another commented, “Aman Gandhi doesn’t need much time To Read The Face. Bro took one look at ‘Sasta Irrfan’ and decoded the whole game instantly.”
A third viewer added, “Aasif is seriously very arrogant.” The support for Aman suggests that a section of the audience believes Aasif’s aggressive style is not winning him any fans.
Aasif Khan’s Journey to Bigg Boss 20
Aasif Khan is best known for his role as Ganesh aka Damaad Ji in the popular Prime Video series Panchayat. His dialogue “Gajab Beizzati Hai Yaar” became a viral sensation during the lockdown and made him a household name.
The 34-year-old actor was born on March 13, 1991, in Nimbahera, Rajasthan. He has also appeared in shows like Mirzapur, Paatal Lok, and Jamtara. Before entering the Bigg Boss 20 house, Aasif revealed in an exclusive interview that he had rejected 25-30 projects after Panchayat because he wanted to experiment with his career.
Aasif has also been in the news for other reasons. He was recently nominated for elimination along with ScoutOP and Rohed Khan as punishment for discussing nominations. He called the decision “unfair” and questioned how the task was handled.
Aman Gandhi’s Career and Background
Aman Gandhi is a well-known face in the Indian television industry. He made his television debut with D4 – Get Up and Dance in 2016. Since then, he has appeared in shows like Naagin 3, Daayan, Prem Bandhan, and Bhagya Lakshmi, where he played the role of Ayushmaan “Ayush” Chopra.
He has also been part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In an interview before entering the house, Aman said he had manifested being on Bigg Boss for years. “After IPL, the biggest event in this country was Bigg Boss. I manifested this show,” he shared.
This is not the first time Aman was approached for the show. He was in talks for the OTT version in 2022-23, but his commitments to Bhagya Lakshmi prevented him from taking it up.
