For the prison scenes where Daniel visits his sister, the production used a real jail. The outside of the East Jersey State Prison was used for these moments. This same prison previously appeared in the heist movie Ocean’s Eleven.

The work retreat scenes in Office Romance took production crews to the Dominican Republic. The villas where Jackie and Daniel stay are located at the Cayo Levantado Resort on the coast of Samana.
