The global girl group KATSEYE is making their first musical performance on late-night television. The group will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 12, 2026. This marks a major step for the five-member act as they continue their rise in the music industry.
The announcement came on August 5 when the show’s official social media shared the news. A playful video showed Jimmy Fallon referencing the group’s music video for their recent single “Animal”. Fans quickly spread the word across social platforms, expressing their excitement for the upcoming episode.
The episode will air at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Viewers can also stream it the next day on Peacock. The show tapes live from Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City.
What to Expect on the Show
KATSEYE will do more than just perform. The group will sit down with Jimmy Fallon for an interview. They plan to talk about their new EP “Wild” and their upcoming tour plans.
The performance will be the group’s first musical appearance on any late-night program. While they visited The Tonight Show before in February 2026, that appearance did not include a full musical performance. That visit focused on promoting their State Farm Super Bowl commercial. This time, they will take the Studio 6B stage to perform.
The show has not confirmed which song they will perform. Given their recent releases, it will likely be a track from their upcoming EP “Wild”. Their lead single “Pinky Up” reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April. Their follow-up single “Animal” debuted at No. 24 in July. The music video for “Animal” featured Hollywood actress Demi Moore. The song was co-written by Ed Sheeran.
The Five Members Taking the Stage
The lineup for the August 12 appearance includes five members:

- Daniela Avanzini
- Yoonchae Jeung
- Megan Skiendiel
Manon Bannerman, the sixth member, will not be part of this appearance. She has been on hiatus since mid-February to focus on her health and well-being. HYBE, the entertainment company behind the group, announced her break in late February. In June, bandmate Sophia spoke about Manon’s absence:
“It’s not our place or anybody else’s place to rush her. We want to give her all the time that she needs, all the space that she needs, and so we don’t want to make any assumptions.”
Fans have shown support for Manon during her time away from the group.
New EP “Wild” Coming Soon
KATSEYE will release their new EP “Wild” on August 14, 2026. This comes just two days after their Tonight Show appearance. The EP features five songs. The tracklist includes their hit singles “PINKY UP” and “Animal”.
The group has been building momentum throughout the year. They attended the Grammy Awards as nominees for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. They also performed at the Grammys. Their appearance on The Tonight Show in February came right after the Grammy ceremony.
Wildworld Tour on the Horizon
Following the EP release, KATSEYE will begin their Wildworld Tour. The tour kicks off in early September in Dublin, Ireland. They will then travel to the UK, Europe, and North America. The group recently headlined the opening night of the Hinterland Music Festival. This was their first festival headlining performance.
Documentary Screening Same Day
Fans have another reason to mark August 12 on their calendars. The documentary “KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS” will have limited theatrical screenings on the same day. The documentary offers a closer look at the two-time Grammy-nominated group.
