The fourth season of “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun” reached its 18th episode on August 1, 2026. The episode, titled “Give the Youth All the Nutrients They Need / Crossing the Sunbeams Shining Through the Trees,” brought major developments for the series. Iruma and two other demon candidates met with the Thirteen Crowns, the highest authority in the demon world.

Episode 18 Recap: Meeting the Thirteen Crowns
The episode had two parts. The first part, “Give the Youth All the Nutrients They Need,” showed Iruma, Leiji, and Razzberry being brought before the Thirteen Crowns as candidates for the next demon king. The three were asked what kind of demon world they would want to rule if they became king.
Leiji and Razzberry shared their visions for the demon world’s future. Iruma then gave his own answer, showing his growth and his different way of thinking compared to the other candidates. The meeting with the Thirteen Crowns tested the three candidates and showed how much pressure they face.
The second part, “Crossing the Sunbeams Shining Through the Trees,” focused on Iruma, Asmodeus, and Clara. With their first year at Babyls Demon School coming to an end, the three friends talked about becoming second-years. They would have more practical training, learn new magic, and gain younger students to mentor.
The trio decided to practice being cool upperclassmen. This lighter segment showed the characters’ friendship and their excitement about moving forward in their demon school lives.

Episode 18 aired on NHK E-tele on August 1, 2026, at 6:25 PM JST. Streaming platforms made the episode available on August 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM JST.
The season premiered on April 4, 2026, and is scheduled to run for 24 episodes. New episodes air every Saturday.
A schedule change affects Episode 19. The episode will not air on August 8, 2026, because of a sports event. Episode 19 will now broadcast and stream on August 15, 2026.

About the Series
“Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun” is based on the manga by Osamu Nishi, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion since March 2017. The manga has sold over 20 million copies as of March 2026.
The story follows Suzuki Iruma, a 14-year-old human boy sold to the demon Sullivan by his parents. Sullivan enrolls Iruma in Babyls Demon School, where he must hide his human identity while navigating demon society.

Cast and Production
The Japanese cast includes Ayumu Murase as Iruma Suzuki, Ryohei Kimura as Asmodeus Alice, Ayaka Asai as Valac Clara, and Takuya Sato as Sabnock Saburo. The fourth season added Setsuo Ito as Purson Soi and Takehito Koyasu as Amduscias Poro, among others.
Makoto Moriwaki serves as chief director, with Ayaka Tsujihashi directing. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handles series composition, and Yumiko Hara designs the characters. Bandai Namco Pictures produces the animation.
The English dub features Laura Stahl as Iruma, Stephen Fu as Asmodeus, and Kayli Mills as Clara. Jalen K. Cassell directs the dub, with adaptation by Ryan Raydarke.
