During the filming of the K-drama Backstreet Rookie, popular South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook made headlines by saving a kitten from a sewer. Known for his versatility in acting, Ji’s quick action in this real-life scenario further won the hearts of his fans.
Ji Chang Wook Saves Kitten During Filming
The incident occurred while Ji Chang Wook was filming the first episode of Backstreet Rookie. He was seen pulling a kitten from a street sewer, nearly climbing inside to reach it. Fans were moved by the scene, but some believed it was unscripted. However, the rescue was part of the storyline.
Despite completing the scene, Ji Chang Wook didn’t immediately let go of the kitten. He continued to hold and keep it warm. The video of Ji fondly petting the kitten after the shoot also gained attention, with the staff later taking the animal away safely.
