In this episode, a notorious serial killer who shares a history with Erin is brought to Boston. After he hints at the location of a missing young girl, Erin is called in to help. The brother-sister duo had to put their differences aside to save the child before it was too late.
The episode showed how Erin still tries to take care of her stubborn brother, just like she did in Blue Bloods. Their partnership brought back the classic Reagan family energy that viewers loved from the original show. The episode ended with the siblings heading to New York for a traditional Sunday dinner with the family.
Lena Silver Learns the Truth About Her Biological Father
While Danny worked the serial killer case, Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green) faced a personal crisis. The episode revealed major news about her family tree.
Lena found out that Reverend Edwin Peters (Ernie Hudson) is not her biological grandfather. The truth came to light after Reverend Peters was wheeled into surgery for a serious health scare. Mae Silver (Gloria Reuben) told Lena that her real father is a man named Chris Williams.
“Mae revealed that Lena’s father is a former robber named Chris William, who now works as a small-town police chief just outside of Boston.”
The situation became even more complicated when Chris showed up at the family’s doorstep. He revealed that he knew about Lena all along and has been watching over her like a father from a distance. This revelation sets the stage for a possible father-daughter meeting in future episodes.
