What Happened So Far
The story begins with Elsa Eukrainen, the daughter of a poor aristocratic family. Her family struggles with basic needs like food and warmth. When she receives a marriage proposal from Julius Royus, a very elite nobleman, she cannot understand why such a distinguished man would want to marry her.
Before the wedding, Julius appeared kind and gentle. But after they got married, his behavior changed completely. He spoke to her with coldness and made it clear that he had no plans to love her.
Episode 1 showed Elsa’s life before marriage and the beginning of her new life as a married woman. She works hard and cares for others, even harvesting vegetables for an orphanage. Julius, despite his cold words, showed a hint of his true feelings when he looked at his wedding ring at the end of the episode.
Episode 2 continued to explore the awkward relationship between the two. Julius continues to act distant, but his actions sometimes suggest he might care more than he admits. The show is building toward a slow romance where the two strangers might actually fall in love.
