From February 28 to March 2, J-Hope of BTS performed three solo concerts called “HOPE ON THE STAGE” at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. This was his first solo concert series after finishing his military service. Fans were very excited not only for his performances but also for possible surprise appearances by other BTS members. Rumors quickly spread about whether other members would show up to support J-Hope.
Photo Sparks Speculation
On February 28, the first night of the concerts, a photo started going around online. This photo seemed to show BTS member V at the KSPO Dome. The picture showed a person in a military uniform near the concert place. The person’s face was mostly hidden by a scarf and hat, but they were holding a phone. Since V is currently doing his mandatory military service, many fans thought it was him. This started a lot of excitement among ARMY, BTS‘s fan group, who believed V had secretly come to support J-Hope.
Fans React
As the rumor spread, fans were very excited and talked about the possibility. Many fans were happy at the idea of V taking time from his military duties to support J-Hope. Others were more careful, saying there was no real proof that it was actually V in the picture. Even though it was not confirmed, the idea of a BTS reunion at the concert made many fans emotional because they miss seeing the group together. However, as the concert night went on, no more pictures or videos appeared to confirm V was there. This made some people doubt if the rumor was true, but many fans still hoped it was.
V Sets Record Straight
Finally, on March 3, the day after the concert series ended, V himself used Weverse, a fan communication platform, to clear up the rumors. He wrote a message saying he had watched J-Hope on a TV show called “I LIVE ALONE”. He called himself “Jung Hogam,” a play on words, and said he was sad he could not go to the concert. He also mentioned it would have been a good chance to see ARMY. This message from V confirmed that he was not at the concert. He stopped the rumors but also showed his support for J-Hope from a distance.
Looking Ahead
It is natural for fans to miss V, but they do not need to be sad for long. He will be done with his military service in just three months, returning to fans in June. Until then, fans can enjoy J-Hope‘s amazing solo concerts and look forward to V‘s return.
