About DMV Season 1
DMV is a single-camera workplace comedy set in an East Hollywood Department of Motor Vehicles office. The show is based on a short story by Katherine Heiny and follows a group of lovable misfits as they deal with difficult customers and office bureaucracy.
The main cast includes Harriet Dyer as Colette, Tim Meadows as Gregg, Molly Kearney as Barb, Alex Tarrant as Noa, and Tony Cavalero as Vic. The series was created by Dana Klein, who also serves as an executive producer and showrunner.
CBS showed strong confidence in the show by giving it a full-season order of 20 episodes before it even premiered in October 2025.
โAny opportunity to play a villain is always welcome for me because Iโm known for playing pretty amiable, nice people, so to play a very conceited, conniving person, itโs always fun.โ – Randall Park on his guest role as Beau.
