Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has once again fired shots at YouTuber and political commentator Dhruv Rathee. In a recent podcast appearance, Orry repeated his strong accusation, calling Rathee “anti-national” and criticizing him for what he called a “strange perception game” of picking and choosing topics only when they fit his personal narrative. The fresh attack has reignited the long-standing feud between the two internet stars, grabbing headlines across entertainment and news platforms.
Orry made these comments while appearing on the KK Create podcast. When asked about Rathee, the influencer did not hold back. He explained that his dislike for the YouTuber started not with politics but with something much simpler: a thumbnail. Orry claimed that Rathee once used his picture as clickbait for a video.
“I don’t like him, and I don’t like him because he used me as a thumbnail on his video, so I got tricked into watching his video, and I was there for two seconds. You used me as clickbait and tricked me into watching a 20-minute video, which is not even about me. That was torture for me.”
Orry Calls Dhruv Rathee’s Content Choices ‘Convenient’
The influencer went on to attack Rathee’s journalistic style, stating that the political commentator only discusses issues that suit his own agenda. Orry admitted that he does not follow all of Rathee’s content but claimed that the YouTuber often ignores important events while speaking on random or “weird” topics.
“I feel he covers topics very conveniently when it fits his narrative. I don’t know what his topics are exactly because I don’t follow everything, but he’ll say something weird that doesn’t make sense, and when he should be covering something, he just won’t cover it. I just don’t like the guy. Either you look bad, or your AI looks cheap.”
Orry also revealed a crude nickname he uses for Rathee, saying he saw it online and it simply stuck. He added the “anti-national” tag once again, repeating the same accusation he made during their first public clash in December 2025.
How the Orry-Dhruv Rathee Feud Started
The bad blood between the two started last year when Dhruv Rathee released a video titled “The FAKE Beauty of Bollywood Celebrities.” In that video, Rathee discussed several actresses who had allegedly undergone cosmetic procedures. The thumbnail featured Janhvi Kapoor, who is a close friend of Orry.
At the time, Orry jumped to Kapoor’s defense in the comments section. He wrote, “She probably doesn’t even know who he is.” He then went further, labeling Rathee an “anti-nationalist” and accusing him of making videos just for attention.
“I myself only know him as that anti-nationalist who complains about not getting papped at a train station despite having followers.”
That comment went viral and established the public rift between the Bollywood insider and the political YouTuber.
Social Media Reacts to Orry’s Fresh Attack
The viral clip from the podcast has drawn mixed reactions online. Some users praised Orry for speaking his mind without sugarcoating his opinions. One user wrote, “Orry is totally a different mood.” Another commented, “We need more people like Orry in the new India.”
However, others criticized the influencer for using the serious label of “anti-national” so casually. One viewer wrote, “The audacity to call someone anti-national just because they question!” Another user pointed out the irony, saying, “He is an American citizen and from that context he is calling Dhruv Rathee anti-national.”

Dhruv Rathee’s History of Controversies
Dhruv Rathee has faced backlash from several public figures in the past for his political commentary. Actor Gul Panag previously criticized him over his remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rathee had said that Modi “deserves to be humiliated everywhere he goes” and encouraged foreign journalists to question the Prime Minister during overseas visits.
Panag responded by saying that while disagreement with a government is part of democracy, diminishing the office of India’s Prime Minister on foreign soil “doesn’t feel like the right thing or dissent” to her. “It diminishes him, the institution, and ultimately, us,” she added.
Orry also shared his wish to meet PM Modi during the podcast. He said that getting a picture with the Prime Minister in his famous pose is at the top of his bucket list, adding that he is already “manifesting” the moment.
As of now, Dhruv Rathee has not publicly responded to Orry’s latest remarks. The YouTuber continues to post his regular political analysis videos, while Orry remains active in the Bollywood social scene. Whether Rathee will address these fresh allegations or let the matter pass remains to be seen.
