BTS’ Jin, recently discharged from his mandatory military service, has been actively engaging with his fans and diving into various projects. In a recent interview with W Korea released on July 15, 2024, Jin shared insights about his experiences in the military, his current activities, and his plans moving forward.
Jin Talks About Being an ‘Ace’ in the Military
During the interview, Jin discussed his reputation in the military, where he was affectionately called the “ace.” He attributed this title to his diligent adherence to orders and his performance in various tasks. Notably, Jin became the first special grade warrior from his base, scoring 18 out of 20 shots in a crucial test. Jin also shared light-hearted moments, explaining how he often bought food for his fellow soldiers, earning their affection and the playful nickname “God” for his generosity.
When asked about his physical confidence, Jin revealed that he was not comfortable going shirtless for a photoshoot, humorously noting his conservative nature. Despite this, he maintained a positive outlook and continued to share more about his personal and professional life.
Jin’s Favorite Scene from “Queen of Tears”
In addition to his military tales, Jin talked about his favorite scene from the K-drama “Queen of Tears.” He described a touching moment where Kim Soo Hyun‘s character plays a “she loves me, she loves me not” game with flower petals, contemplating his on-screen wife Kim Ji Won’s feelings.
Jin’s Activities Post-Military Service
