The 25th BET Awards will take place on June 9, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event celebrates Black excellence in music, film, TV, and sports. Comedian and actor Kevin Hart returns as host for the second time since 2011.
Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with 10 nods, including Album of the Year for GNX and Video of the Year for Not Like Us. Other top nominees include Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, each with six nominations. SZA and The Weeknd follow with four nominations each.
Performers include Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, and Leon Thomas. A special 106 & Park reunion tribute will feature past hosts and performances by Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya, and T.I.
Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin will receive the Ultimate Icon Award for their decades-long impact on entertainment. The show airs live on BET, BET+, and Paramount+ at 8 PM ET/PT.
