BTS made their first full group appearance in 18 months at J-Hope‘s HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL concert in Goyang, South Korea, on June 13, 2025. The event coincided with the group’s 12th anniversary celebrations, marking a historic moment for fans worldwide.

All seven members—RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—were present, though only Jungkook and Jin joined J-Hope on stage. The rest cheered from the audience, waving lightsticks and dancing to the music. The concert was part of BTS FESTA 2025, an annual event celebrating the group’s debut.

Jungkook, who was discharged from the military just two days earlier, surprised fans by performing his global hit “Seven” alongside J-Hope. The rapper took over Latto’s verse, creating an energetic moment that had the crowd screaming. The duo also performed their unreleased collaboration “I Wonder” for the first time live.

Jin, the oldest member, joined J-Hope later for a nostalgic performance of “Spring Day”, a fan-favorite BTS track. The trio—J-Hope, Jin, and Jungkook—also performed “Jamais Vu” from their 2019 album MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA, making it a night of unexpected reunions.

The concert was streamed globally on Weverse, allowing millions of fans to witness the emotional return of the group. Social media exploded with clips and reactions, with many calling it the “best FESTA gift ever.”

“Our OT7 is back,” wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter). “The biggest in the world are back and no matter what happens, they’ll always stick together and have each other’s backs like a real family.”

“For non-K-pop fans, this is like the OG Avengers reuniting,” another fan joked.

SUGA’s appearance was particularly special since he is still completing his alternative military service and will be discharged on June 21. Fans were thrilled to see him supporting his bandmates despite his ongoing duties.

The concert also featured J-Hope’s solo hits like “Arson,” “More,” and “On The Street.” He debuted a new song, “Killin’ It Girl” (feat. GloRilla), adding more excitement to the night.

BTS last performed together as a full group in 2022 before members began enlisting in the military. Their return has sparked rumors of a 2026 world tour, though HYBE has not yet confirmed any official plans.

The Goyang Stadium was packed with 27,000 fans, including many who traveled from overseas. The city also hosted BTS FESTA 2025 at KINTEX, featuring photo spots and fan events.

Jin is set to begin his solo fan concert tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, in Goyang on June 28-29. This will be his first solo tour since his military discharge in 2024.

With six members now officially back, only SUGA remains to complete the group’s full reunion. Fans are eagerly waiting for June 21, when he will finish his service and rejoin the team.

The concert was a powerful reminder of BTS’s global influence. Their bond and energy on stage proved that even after years apart, their chemistry remains as strong as ever.
