Drake made headlines again after a video showed him asking ChatGPT for gambling advice. The clip, shared by @AkademiksTV on June 19, 2025, quickly went viral. Fans reacted with jokes, memes, and questions about the rapperโs habits.
In the video, Drake debates whether to bet $200,000 on Puffer Stacks or $100,000 on Wanted. Both are casino games on Stake, a crypto-based platform. ChatGPT first suggested Wanted but later changed its advice to Puffer Stacks. Drake wasnโt happy with the result.
“This is by far your worst pick yet. A good chunk of my fortune is squandered on your questionable picks,” Drake told the AI. The video gained over 52,000 views in hours. Fans quickly flooded social media with reactions.
“Next he will ask for rap bars,” one user tweeted. Others referenced Drakeโs past use of AI for creative work. “Smh just like he tried to use ChatGPT for a rap battle ๐,” another joked. Some questioned if Drake relies on AI for songwriting too.
The rapperโs partnership with Stake began in 2022. Reports claim he signed a $180 million deal with the platform. DJ Akademiks revealed Drake gets paid to promote Stake and stream his bets. “He gets paid to just put their sht in his bio, stream once a month, and make a few bad picks,”* Akademiks said.
Drakeโs gambling habits have been a topic before. Kendrick Lamar referenced them in his diss track “meet the grahams.” Drake responded humorously in a May 2025 Instagram video, denying addiction. “Yeah, I’m addicted to being signed to the biggest gambling company in the world,” he said.
Fans had mixed reactions. Some found the video funny, while others criticized his high-stakes bets. “Good thing he is rich. Also a good thing Stake pays him millions when he plays on a practice account,” a netizen wrote. Another added, “Drake is hilarious.”
This isnโt the first time Drakeโs gambling made news. In December 2024, he livestreamed his bets, including losses on UFC and soccer. Earlier this year, he admitted losing $8 million in a month. Fans debated whether he should be more careful.
“Is he not ashamed?” one user asked. Others defended him, pointing out his wealth. “He can afford to lose millions and still live like a king,” a fan wrote. The debate continues as Drake keeps sharing his betting adventures.
Besides gambling, Drake recently made headlines for calling Canadian politician Jagmeet Singh a “goof.” Singh attended a Kendrick Lamar concert, leading to a public apology. The rapper stays in the spotlight, whether for music, bets, or feuds.
