Apple TV has been particularly active, confirming new seasons for several of its original series.

Platonic, the comedy starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as former best friends reconnecting in midlife, will return for a third season. The show, which follows the hilarious chaos their revived friendship causes, has been a steady performer for the streamer.

The spy thriller Tehran also got good news. The series about a Mossad agent, played by Niv Sultan, was renewed for a fourth season. This announcement comes ahead of the January 9 premiere of its third season, which will feature new cast member Hugh Laurie.

Apple additionally renewed the thriller Down Cemetery Road, which stars Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson, for a second season.
